Overview

"The AKA-1001 strut service cart is designed and manufactured by AKAM for hydraulic fluid servicing, bleeding, and nitrogen charging of aircraft landing gear struts. By relying on workshop compressed air and a connection to an external regulated nitrogen source, this model is suited to maintenance and MRO environments where a compressed-air infrastructure is available. The system incorporates a 40 L oil reservoir, an air-operated hydraulic pump, a vacuum degassing system, suction and return filtration, and two retractable service hoses. The ECO configuration reduces onboard equipment and uses existing workshop utilities to provide a simpler operating architecture for strut servicing."

Application

"Servicing and transfer of hydraulic fluid for landing gear struts Bleeding and removal of trapped air from the strut service circuit Nitrogen charging of struts using an external regulated nitrogen source Routine landing gear strut servicing in maintenance workshops Support for aircraft MRO and ground servicing operations"
